How To Make Homemade Waffles And Freeze Them For Later Use

As a busy mother and grandmother do not have time during the week to make a hot homemade breakfast. During the weekend, I like making homemade cakes, French toast and waffles for their use during the week. The following recipe and instructions is how I like to make our waffles and freeze them for later use. That will keep for several weeks in the freezer, if stored.Freezing Instructions: The wafers can be made ahead of time and then frozen for later use. Cool completely. Place in single layer on a baking tray and place in freezer for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from freezer and place in plastic zipper bags, plastic freezer containers. I put a sheet of wax paper between each layer to avoid sticking.Reheating Instructions: May be reheated in the toaster oven, large slot toaster or microwave for 1 to 2 1 / 2 minutes. Top with butter and / or your favorite syrup Waffles Recipe2 first serving.Homemade white, 2 cream egg yolks 3 / 4 cup cold milk 1 / 2 teaspoon vanilla extract1 cup flour 2 1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 1 / 2 teaspoon salt 4 tablespoons butter melts completely into a small bowl, use an electric mixer to fit the egg whites until peaks are stiff and form, with the rest. In another bowl, lightly beat egg yolks. Combine cold milk and vanilla until all is combined. Sift dry ingredients to the bowl of egg yolks until everything is well combined. Mix the melted butter. Gently fold beaten egg whites lasts until all ingredients are combined and wet. Preheat waffle iron until hot and has reached the proper temperature. Pour into a bowl an inch from the edge. Cook waffle about every 5 to 6 minutes or until done. Serve immediately or freeze for later use.
